“Ooh we’re livin’ on a prayer!” That’s the song that popped in my head at 4 AM when I got up for the 2nd time in the middle of the night to tinkle. If that’s my biggest complaint during this pregnancy, I’ll take it!
Recently, I was asked by Mobile Bay Magazine to share some holiday hosting tips and wanted to share the full article with all of you! Whether you’re hosting a Christmas party or birthday party, I follow the same guidelines when it comes to preparation.
I’m so relieved that the cat is out of the bag and we’ve finally announced that we’re having a baby! Phew! Keeping that to myself has been one of the most challenging things. In this post I’m going to share everything that’s happened up to this point in my pregnancy, so here we go.
I am so happy to finally reveal my new painting by Crawford McWilliams this week! I have never been great at interior design or had an eye for art so when Crawford reached out to me to collaborate I was clueless as what to I wanted.
Nostalgia is the word that kept popping in my head this past weekend. For the past 2 years, a few of my sorority sisters and our husbands plan a gameday weekend in Tuscaloosa. We usually stay in Birmingham with one of my college girlfriends and her husband and several other friends usually join.
One of my sweet followers and an extremely talented photographer (@aimeereynoldsphotography) reached out to me over the weekend asking my thoughts on white blazers in the fall. My response: “YES YES YES!” I recently purchased this white blazer and have been brainstorming ways to style it so I thought I would share 3 ways…
It was a weekend of unpacking, laundry, re-packing and catching up with friends. Weekends at home are my favorite. Today, I’m headed to New Orleans for another work event, riding shot gun and trying to crank out this blog post. Keeping it short because #carsickness.
Of the many trends I’m loving this season, one that I can’t seem/don’t want to get away from is PLAID. Growing up in a public school system with a lax dress code, I deep down always wished I could wear a real school uniform to school – you know the one: the plaid skirt, button down shirt and saddle oxfords.
That’s a wrap for the 2018 Mobile Fashion Week. I was excited but slightly hesitant to attend this year as a first time Fashion Blogger. Fortunately, I was went with one of my good blogger friends (@morrellsarmoire) who had been in years past and she kind of prepared me for what to expect.
Anyone catch that reference? I know my college girlfriends did! The scene from The Grinch (Jim Carrey version) when he’s deciding whether or not to go to the Holiday Cheermeister and shouts “BUT WHAT WILL I WEAR?!” Mobile Fashion Week is kinda like that for me.
